Mockumentary evaluation
I decided to do a mockumentary on the illuminati in which I used a variety of audio techniques such as: incorporating a copyright free soundtrack into the background on Premiere. I filmed the audio with two different mics: a handheld microphone and a shotgun mic. The handheld microphone was used in the quiet environment to record the opening voiceover and the shotgun mic was used to record the last scene of the mockumentary. There is a slight bit of background noise because of the location we filmed in (a corridor), so I tried adjusting the audio levels but it was difficult to get rid of the initial noise at the beginning of that scene.
The idea and characters are fictional and is presented in a mockumentary form. I have had inspiration from a few mockumentaries such as Thor: Civil War, People Just Do Nothing, and Brass Eye. I decided to use the illuminati for the subject of my mockumentary because it's a comical subject matter which is surrounded by mystery and intrigue. I thought this would be a perfect idea for a mockumentary because of these reasons.
The soundtrack I used was meant to provoke mystery and intrigue which surrounds the subject matter (illuminati). The soundtrack builds from very low to an epic crescendo as they come across the illuminati HQ. The soundtrack also builds tension which subconciously implies that something is going to happen at the end, such as a reveal.
I am happy for the most part with the footage but concerned with the audio. If I had more time I would have mixed the audio track and the speech better so the audio gain of the speech would be better. I used all copyright free pictures and music, but if I had more time I would have created my own pictures because even though the images were listed as copyright free there are a few that, looking at the video after, I questioned if they were - such as the toblerone image.

Board game evaluation and Rationale
I started gathering images of the Death Star surface which was the background of my board .
Below is the finished board . Which is a lot more clear than the previous one , The fire obstacle is much clearer as people associate fire with danger , and works as a good board game mechanic, but is not true to Star Wars
From the questioners i have given out , i have received feed back that the board was too short as it was printed on A4 paper . This meant that the game was too short when played , it took 10 minutes to complete . If i had more time i would change the board and include more obstacles , whilst staying within the A3 size of the brief .
The board game includes traditional elements such as the dice , counters and board , but i have expanded upon these by not reworking an original game and including topical features .
I am pleased with the game , but with more time to apply feedback from the questioners i would make changes , a bigger board , clearer rules etc.

Rules of Game
Rules of Game
Aim of the game is to get the XWings from the left side of the board avoiding Darth Vaders Tie Fighter to eventually plant the YWings on the reactor on the right side of the board.
The xwings can not land on the fire, if they do they will miss a go and need to throw the right number to get past on the next go .
Xwings can throw 1 to 4 on the dice , Darth Vader can throw 1 to 6.
Game includes:
One Death Star board
One dice
One Darth Vader Tie fighter
Four XWings colour coded
Four YWings colour coded
The game will need three players minimum
One ,Darth Vader
at least Two, XWings
each XWing player must have a colour coded YWing .
Aim of the game is to get the XWings from the left side of the board avoiding Darth Vaders Tie Fighter to eventually plant the YWings on the reactor on the right side of the board.
- If an xwing ends up sharing the same square as Darth Vader ,the xwing dies and is replaced by the colour coded ywing .
- If this is the case, a member of the xwing team has to go back and retrieve the ywing and put it in the set card .
- The xwings must land on the correct square to retrieve the fallen ywing
- All ywings must be in the set card when the xwings reach the end , the reactor.
- Once the xwings are near to the reactor they can move around as a tactic to wait for the other players /xwings to catch up
- when you land on the reactor square that is the end of your game
The xwings can not land on the fire, if they do they will miss a go and need to throw the right number to get past on the next go .
Xwings can throw 1 to 4 on the dice , Darth Vader can throw 1 to 6.

indesign font and typeface

Typeface and Fonts.
A typeface is a piece of writing that is often used in logos, signs, and headers. Typefaces are more fancy and eye-catching than fonts. Fonts are used for writing and are easier to read than a typeface. Fonts are aesthetically easier to read because they are more simplistic designs.

Recce blog
the photo below would not be a suitable location for a period piece because the electricity box is visible which would not be in keeping with the brief .There is a lot of shade because of the trees opposite the building and also the time of day would obstruct the light .
this shot is also not suitable because it shows the cars , pedestrians , and an aerial in the distance which would be modern day .It is well lite in the for ground but badly lite in the background.
this would be unsuitable for the brief becausethe cars and people with dogs in the distance.

Triangles. They're everywhere aren't they. In our daily lives, in your house, in your chocolate, and even on your shoes. Today, we might have an answer to the triangle enigma.
We have tracked the IP address to this location. I think we might have found the...Illuminati headquarters.
Interviewer: Hello, we are from the official Illuminati confirming society. You are on live TV
Toby:What are you doing here, there's nothing here, we're just a college!
Interviewer: We've tracked your IP address!
Toby: Get out! Get out! Do you know what will happen if you publish this video? The world as we know it will disintegrate

three act structure
Alien
ACT ONE
The opening of Alien starts out with the crew of the Nostromo waking up from cryosleep then they
sit around eating their first meal , where they chat about how long they have been on the journey and their pay . This establishes the characters and encourages them the audience relate to them .
The first dilema is when one of the crew members gets attacked by a face hugger , then the crew takes the victim back to the space ship to remove it , this is an inciting incident , that is also a tipping point.
ACT TWO
The crew are socialising in a relaxed atmosphere ,when the same crew member who was earlier attacked by the face hugger chokes, they initially think he is choking on his food , he lays on the table and the alien bursts out of his chest .This is the second tipping point .After this scene the feel the crew feel misery and face defeat . They eventually try to blow up the ship and escape , but only one crew member survives
ACT THREE
The alien survives and climbs on the escape shuttle but the sole survivor of the ship depressurises the shuttle and the alien flys off into space . .

Monopoly diversification
Monopoly has had t change with the times and adjust itself to the demand and interest of the younger generation such as licensing Star Wars, Dr Who, etc for the board game. This licensing is good from a marketing point of view because if somebody likes a specific brand or franchise they are more likely to purchase the Monopoly board tied in with that franchise. They have had to move with the times by introducing items to the game such as the cash machine.
Inflation has also had an impact on Monopoly such as the modern version below that is in millions rather than hundreds.

mockumentary.
With the video below I want to use handheld camera which is a bit shaky and informal. The tone is upbeat and comedic, but not too over the top, more grounded. I want a similar tone for my mockumentary.
With the video below I want to adapt the idea of music overlapped with the mockumentary to set the scene. In the video below, they are setting the scene within an inner-city radio station, but in mine I intend to build tension.
my idea for this project is to do a 1 minute instagram comedy sketch. This will be portrayed as a mockumentary about the Illuminati. I plan to have a serious start to the film, portrayed as a normal documentary. The interviewer says he's got an exclusive interview with the illuminati boss.

The music will set the tone for the scene. The music for the cutaway shots will be more serious. As soon as they enter the interview the music stops suddenly - a record scratch sound effect will play.
